Your pistol must be holstered in a rigid, with retention device holster while on the course. This is to ensure your safety, as well as the safety of those around you.
The retention ensures that the pistol doesn’t pop out while negotiating the course or while running.
The rigid retention requirement is so nothing accidentally sets off a round by hiƫng the trigger.
NO vinyl, cloth, or inside the waistband holsters.
Keep it simple. You will need something to hold spare ammo and/or magazines as well as any water or extra gear. Remember there will be water stations on the course but not much shade.
